Sunday 13th June - Stocksfield, Northumberland!

The Hill Rolling Ride Of Your Life!

Ever wondered what it’s like in a washing machine? Of course you have…well KidsCan is giving you the opportunity to find out!

One 12ft inflatable ball, one hill and two open minded people. It is unlike anything you have experienced before!

What is Sphereing?

Sphereing, sometimes known as Zorbing is an extreme sport where people are rolled down steep hills inside inflatable spheres. The sphere itself is a gigantic inflatable ball, standing 12ft in height with another smaller sphere suspended inside by approximately a thousand nylon strands.

There are three types of sphereing:

Harness Sphereing - You and a friend are strapped in the harnesses, facing each other inside the ball, before tearing off down a hill at speeds of up to 30mph. The general reaction is to laugh hysterically as you descend the hill, rolling and bouncing! And don't worry, with a safety harness, and 3ft of air between you and the ground, you're entirely safe.

Eclipse Sphereing – This is the same as harness sphereing, the only difference is that you are in complete darkness!

There is a third option, however it is dependent on whether it is hot enough on the day.

Aqua Sphereing - You and a friend are completely free in the ball, with no harnesses, leaving you to slip and slide around inside with thirty litres of water as company! Hang on tight and expect to be very wet when you reach the bottom.
